The role is in our newly built head office in Copenhagen (Nordhavn), and you will be reporting to the Head of Procurement Operations & Data Excellence.

In this role, you will cover a wide area, which will range from spend visibility, business intelligence and master data management to liaising directly with our suppliers and our vessels

Your key responsibilities include to:

  • Support decisions on improvement opportunities in relation to spend management and visibility and ensure that all users and contributors are kept informed.
  • Be responsible for working with different stakeholders to understand how master data is contributing to data driven decisions and support the availability and awareness of data accuracy.
  • Collaborate closely with Master data departments and other stakeholders to improve structure & efficiency and enable digitalization in Group Procurement across various systems through collaboration and standardization.
  • Engage suppliers directly with the aim of establishing master data catalogues of purchased items to build a foundation for automation and integration.
  • Collaborate with Category Managers to increase focus on master data integrations via EDI (electronic data interchange) and work closely with the supplier’s IT department, EDI team and the master data team to get it developed, tested, and implemented.

Moreorever, you should also expect occasionally to:

  • Prepare key insights relevant for how we procure in DFDS, extract, analyze and deliver reports to measure performance of suppliers and internal customers.
  • Be responsible for carrying out investigations within our systems and processes with the aim to identify opportunities for improvements

As Group Procurement is placed across Europe, you can also expect some travel activity.
