System Support Engineer

As our Singapore office continues to grow, we are seeking an additional System Support Engineer with experience supporting IT infrastructures.

Responsibilities and tasks:

  • Monitor condition of network, server, apps and security measures. Act as link between end-users and higher-level support. Perform routine maintenance tasks which includes update patches, asset tracking, status update
  • IT security Management related to firewalls, OS, etc.
  • Conduct preventative and rectification maintenance at customer locations.
  • Inclusion in duty roster for remote and on-site support service 24 hours per day.
  • Inclusion in the weekend standby duty roster.
  • Production of reports and necessary documentation for administration and invoicing purposes.
  • Preferable; Provision of technical support service for marine sensors including radar, radio, CCTV, AIS, etc.
  • Any other appropriate tasks required by the Line Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Computer Engineering / IT networking / Electrical and Electronic Engineering or any other relevant field of studies
  • Possession of a Class 3 Driving License
  • Candidate needs to be able to be security cleared to access restricted areas
  • Essential; Windows Server, SQL Server, VMware ESXI, VMware VCenter, and TCP\UDP\Multicast
  • Preferable; Windows licensing, VMware licensing, HP MSA Storage and Cloud Computing – Azure or AWS.

If travel restriction allow, time will be spent in Norway during the probationary period. Workplace is Singapore, but travel could be required in the region.
