Kongsberg Maritime, Global Customer Support division is responsible for all Kongsberg Maritime’s service and support in the aftermarket. To strengthen our System Support team, we now seek engineers who are interested in an exciting, hectic and demanding international environment. 

Primary product is Dynamic Position Systems(DP) installed on vessels operating world-wide.

 

  Main tasks and responsibilities:

 

• Technical support and assistance
• Software configuration and modifications
• Implementation, test and verification on-board
• Planned & On-call system support jobs

                

 Requirements:

• Engineer (MSc/BSc) in Cybernetics, Data, Automation or other relevant education/experience
• Fluent written and spoken English and Norwegian language
• Knowledge of C/C++ programming
• Meet the health requirements that apply for offshore work
• Meet the requirement for applying for work visa world-wide
• Ready and motivated for world-wide travel and support activities
• Able to travel on short notice
• Newly qualified will also be considered
