We are seeking an experienced Senior Vice President, Naval & Workboats to join our Global Sales & Marketing organization. This is a pivotal leadership role with responsibility for strategy, growth, and execution across the Naval (light grey segment), TUGs, Research & other Workboats segments. You will play a critical part in delivering on our ambitious goals and maintaining our position at the forefront of the maritime industry. The role will report to the EVP Sales & Marketing and is a member of the Global Sales & Marketing leadership team.
What you will be doing
- Lead Sector Strategy: Define and implement sales strategies that enable profitable, sustainable growth in the Naval & Workboat segments.
- Drive Sales Execution: Build and manage the sales pipeline, lead sales efforts with existing and new customers, and drive cross-selling and integrated solution offerings.
- Accountability for Results: Own sector order intake targets, budget responsibilities, and reporting to ensure transparency and progress tracking.
- Lead Key Projects: Take a leading role in designated global sales projects, and support the broader sales network in complex/system-based contracts.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with product divisions and other internal stakeholders to align strategies and deliver comprehensive customer solutions.
- Team Leadership: Foster a culture of excellence, develop talent, and enhance sales team performance globally.
- Operational Efficiency: Optimize global sales footprint, processes, and performance across key regions.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a commercially oriented, strategic leader with the following experience and qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven leadership experience in a global, complex, and dynamic business environment.
- Strong background in the maritime industry with a customer-focused approach.
- Commercial and financial acumen with a strong track record of delivering results.
- Experience developing and executing successful sales strategies.
- Fluent in English and willing to travel as required.
