This role will lead the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives related to environmental impacts across the projects in Spain.

Your role

Your main responsibilities as a Sustainability Project Manager will include:

  • Develop, propose and implement environmental and social programs applicable to the existing projects
  • Manage detailed Environmental Impact Assessments and the supporting technical studies including noise assessments
  • Prepare clear and concise reports, proposals, and project documentation related to social and enviromental requierments
  • Coordination with the HSSE team for the control and monitoring of environmental measures during construction, operation and maintenance
  • Manage communication and co-ordination between project stakeholders – internal & external
  • Representing Statkraft when engaging with project stakeholders and market contacts

About you:

We would like to hear from you if you have:

  • Degree in geology, environmental engineering, environmental science, geography or other related scientific / technical field, at Master level preferred
  • Comprehensive professional experience in Environmental Impact Assessments and pre-development efforts. The experience linked to renewable energies will be positively valued
  • Experience managing projects and effectively coordinating with internal staff and external consultants, vendors, and other stakeholders
  • Experience working in teams and establishing and maintaining cross-functional and positive working relationships
  • Experience working with confidential information
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish – written and verbal – other languages will be an advantage
