We are currently looking for an experienced, organized, structured, and motivated Supply Chain Coordinator to become part of MENU's Supply Chain team in Nordhavn, Copenhagen.

As part of the Supply Chain team, you will report to the Head of Purchase and perform the daily operational tasks related to the value flow from order entry to delivery while striving for developing and improving such through e.g. automizing or improving them. The role will constantly be balancing input for improvement from the sales team into the development of our partnership with Menu’s production partners and will therefore take a leading role in optimizing delivery service to market and customer satisfaction.

Your work field will be split within the lightning, accessories, and furniture categories, and the role requires you to coordinate and structure several operational tasks ensuring deliveries happen as promised to market.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee all supply chain activities on assigned projects and orders, from order entry to successful delivery
• Assure that orders are produced and delivered within the agreed terms of lead time and quality
• Maintain master data on supplier and product level to continuously provide correct and current data
• Assure service level is as agreed or better from all production partners and secure the best choice of supplier on all parameters through weekly discussions
• Take ownership throughout the lifecycle of the product, ensuring an a-z value chain.

MAIN JOB TASKS 

• Order release of make to order goods
• Order release of NOOS items
• Order confirmations and order follow up
• Inventory management
• Close collaboration with suppliers and sales support team to make sure that all orders are produced and delivered according to MENU demands and specifications
• Purchase order updates according to client requests
• Maintaining and updating master data
• Monitor external QC
• Product creation in ERP system

• Excellent understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and technical know-how
• Good communication skills for both internal- and external collaboration
• Well-structured and organized with high dedication and responsibility of ownership
• Deadline disciplined aiming to solve challenges while keeping focus on details
• Works well in a dynamic and fast environment and accepts challenges as part of the daily tasks
  
  

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• You have an education within the field of Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, and/or equivalent
• 2-5 years of experience in supply chain preferably within purchasing
• Experienced user of Outlook, Excel, and has a general understanding of ERP systems
• Speaks and writes English fluently
