Storage Engineer with orientation towards Capacity performance on Mainframe
My name is Anneli Risberg, Team manager within SEB ITS Mainframe & IBMi. We are looking for an Engineer who will be part of a team working with Storage and Capacity planning on the Mainframe platform.

About the job
As a Storage Engineer, you will work with managing the storage for best performance and optimization. You will be responsible, together with the team of four persons, for daily maintenance, support and system development of the Storage environment. Handling Storage is a critical undertaking as excellent performance from storage is of outmost importance in any delivery performed in mainframe.
Another competence area we want to cover in this role is a genuine interest to learn and be involved in capacity planning for the mainframe environment, including both storage- and server-capacity. This assignment is also of most importance as it ensure that we have the right capacity at the right time, so we keep the right quality to the right cost.
Who are you?
You are a skilled technician/engineer with some years of experience of working within Mainframe environment. You are analytic and structured in your work, and understand the importance in following processes when working in critical environments. Cooperation in the team is important, as the team has great own responsibility for their deliveries. In addition, the ability to independently run your own activities and take responsibility for them is necessary. Enjoy working with colleagues, developing as an engineer and have a positive ‘can-do’ attitude is of great importance.
We are looking for you who have the following qualifications:
• 3-5 years’ experience regarding Mainframe platform as technician
• Working with z/OS
•Experience within storage subsystems (DFSMS) and storage classes is meritorious
• Fluent in both Swedish and English language
