Spares and Service Sales Engineer/Coordinator

An exciting opportunity has arisen as Spares and Service Sales Engineer/Coordinator, reporting to Spares & Services Sales. In this role, you will be a part of the Global Customer Support Team.

You will be responsible for sales of spares and coordination of service projects in an international environment in close collaboration with colleagues across departments.

Key accountabilities

  • Sales of software configurations, systems, onboard services, and spare parts.
  • Handle customer inquiries, managing orders, invoices.
  • Rotational duty phone.
  • Contribute to the economical result in aftermarket projects and sales orders.
  • Responsible for your own customer portfolio and administration of Service Level Agreements.
  • Extensive customer contact and close cooperation with our Global Customer Support teams worldwide.

 

Qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, engineering, Technical College Engineer, or other relevant education. Relevant experience can compensate for formal education.
  • Experience with customer contact and sales.
  • Experience from maritime industry is an advantage.
  • Verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Knowledge in ERP and CRM systems is considered an advantage.
  • Experience with Kongsberg Maritime products is considered an advantage.
