About the job
As a consequence of the changes in the market and customer expectations we are building a new payment platform based on new modern technologies and our internally developed digital enablers. Our Cash Management Area is under an exiting journey with a major global transformation from a business and market perspective, as well as from an architectural perspective. As an experienced Solution Architect with solid knowledge of payments and agile ways of working, you will be a vital part of our community driving the Accounts & Payments agenda in the bank.

Together with your competent colleagues you will be responsible to elaborate architectural solutions, structures and design to reach the end goal with the new modern payment platform. Together with people from Business and Operations, IT infrastructure, developers and other architects within SEB, you will be a part of the development of a core competent in one of SEBs most important IT investments ever. You will have an important role of driving the change and making the transformation in a good step wise approach. Your background in payments and modern technology will make you see our technical needs and implement them to the new payment platform.

You will belong to an Architecture and Shared Services team and report to the team manager for that team and have a dotted line to the Domain Architect for Accounts & Payments.

Who are you?
You have experience from modern architecture of transaction intensive applications with high-availability requirements and knowledge about technologies and platforms ranging from APIs, microservices, container platforms, big data solutions and event-driven architecture. You have worked at least 3-5 years as an architect or 6-8 years as a lead designer/developer and have good knowledge in application development. You have to some extent worked with payment solutions before and would like to continue working in that area. You have designed systems and written code for several years, and you are passionate about what you do and interested in how small details that make a functional architecture a great architecture. You are eager to learn new things, as well as sharing your experiences with others. You are a great communicator who understands different views and can explain a problem or solution in different ways.

We believe you possess excellent networking and communication skills with both business and IT, good leadership skills paired with entrepreneurial thinking and you are fluent in English.
