About the Job
The area of Cash Management is undergoing a major transformation from a business and market as well as from an architectural perspective. As an experienced Solution Architect with solid knowledge of modern architecture and agile ways of working, you will be a vital part of our community driving the Accounts & Payments agenda in the bank and we are now starting the journey to build our new Digital Channels & APIs for Accounts & Payments. Therefore, we are looking for a Solution Architect who can drive the architectural transformation of the front-end applications and the API journey within Accounts & Payments towards the target architecture.
The area of Cash Management is undergoing a major transformation from a business and market as well as from an architectural perspective. As an experienced Solution Architect with solid knowledge of modern architecture and agile ways of working, you will be a vital part of our community driving the Accounts & Payments agenda in the bank and we are now starting the journey to build our new Digital Channels & APIs for Accounts & Payments. Therefore, we are looking for a Solution Architect who can drive the architectural transformation of the front-end applications and the API journey within Accounts & Payments towards the target architecture.
You will cooperate with people from Business and Operations, to IT infrastructure, developers and other architects within SEB. Your work will involve a high degree of complexity, both from a technology perspective and from a people and process perspective. You will be part of driving the change and making the channel transformation in a good step wise approach. As a Solution Architect, you will be one of the most important drivers in this exciting transformation journey.
You will belong to an Architecture and Shared Services team and report to the team manager for that team and have a dotted line to the Domain Architect for Accounts & Payments.
Your profile
We think that the right individual has a solid technical background and could be a senior developer who has contribute a lot in architectural work during the last years, or someone who’s already took the step and moved in to an architectural role. Either way, you have the ability to see solutions from a holistic view and is someone who is great in understanding how technology creates value for the business. To become our cornerstone in our digital channel development, we are looking for someone who is very knowledgeable in modern web technologies and how they can be used to take the customer “through the channel”. JavaScript and their modern frameworks are your strength, and you are used to working with API-strategies, Microservices, mobile etc.

You do not need experience from the banking area, but if you do it will off course be an advantage. It´s more important that you have a passion for creating the best user interface that’s possible, and that you want to learn more about our domain.
A University degree in computer engineering/science, electrical engineering, applied physics or similar is a benefit but not a necessity. Equally important as any formal training or education is that you have a passion for architecture and the financial industry with a strong interest in keeping you updated on the relevant trends in the industry and technology. You are fluent in written and spoken English.
