We are looking for a Software Engineer for our Sensors and Robotics (S&R) division in Horten. The main purpose of the position is to develop and maintain software for our world class positioning and communication systems HiPAP and cNODE.  

Main tasks and responsibilities

You will become part of our dedicated software team and work closely with other software developers and electronic designers. Main task will be design and implementation of signal processing algorithms and of the belonging control system.  You will also participate in test and verification of the systems onboard our vessels in Horten.

Requirements

• Master in Computer Science/Signal Processing or other relevant technical field
• Programming skills in C++, Python or MATLAB
• Fluent in both Norwegian and English 

Desired skills and experience

• In-depth understanding of Digital Signal Processing (Matched Filters, Beamforming, FEC, etc.)
• Experience with Windows or embedded real-time systems
• Knowledge of Underwater acoustics
• Multi-threaded software development
• GPGPU
