OceanSMART, an Oceaneering International, Inc. business unit, is seeking highly motivated, intelligent, and skilled Senior Full Stack Java Developer  to join our growing, international Development team. Position Summary

 

Participate in the design, development, and maintenance of a global, high-performing, and profitable web application.

 

 

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

• Contribute to various levels of the stack, including the front-end, middle tier, ingestion / persistence of large amounts of data, and efficient retrieval from the database

• Provide support to the Production application

• Lead individual projects and potentially small teams

• Collaborate with stakeholders and other team members to derive appropriate solutions

• Solve complex problems

• Develop and maintain Unit and / or Functional Tests

 

 

 

 

 

Qualifications

 

 

 

REQUIRED

 

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience

• 5+ years of web development experience

• 3+ years of Java development experience

• 3+ years of Oracle experience

• 2+ years of Angular experience

• 2+ years of Spring experience

• 2+ years of Hibernate experience

• Experience with Git

• Experience developing and consuming web services (REST/SOAP)

• Strong analytical skills – be a problem solver and be able to develop complex algorithms

• Strong written and oral communications skills (English)

• Be a team player. Have opinions and listen to others.

• Passionate about software development! Willing to learn and to help others.

• Functional with technologies across most of the application stack including user interface, middle tier, and database systems.
