Senior Tech Legal Lawyer to SEB in Stockholm
Would you like to work with legal matters in connection with strategic IT-sourcing projects and IT-supplier relationship management as well as IT-related outsourcing, Software Asset Management matters and cyber security? Now we are looking for an in-house lawyer to our Tech Legal team in Stockholm.
About the position
You will primarily work closely with internal stakeholders related to IT Procurement and Vendor Management, Software Asset Management, Outsourcing and Cyber Security. You will advise internal stakeholders on legal matters, with due consideration to business aspects, in strategic sourcing projects. You will also take an active part in negotiations and renegotiations. There are currently three in-house Lawyers within the Tech Legal team. Furthermore, you will communicate with, understand and influence stakeholders to identify initiatives of high business value and cost saving potential.
Tech Legal is a relatively new organisation within SEB. The organisation takes responsibility for all IT-related procurement on a group level and how we manage our external suppliers within this area, focusing on value maximization, risk mitigation and quality control. The legal function also advises the functions Software Asset Management, Outsourcing Centre of Excellence and Cyber Security.
To succeed in your role with us you must have excellent legal skills, as well as very good people skills and you are expected to have a good understanding of business in a broader context. You are a team player; you take the initiative to pro-actively identify issues and propose solutions. You must be a “doer” and be able to work independently. You also have the ability to influence and motivate and you are an experienced and skilled negotiator.
A prerequisite is a Swedish Master of Laws (LLM) degree and at least 10 years of experience working with law, preferably within a large corporation or a law firm. Your specific competence should be within IT-related legal matters. It is meriting with long experience in negotiations regarding complex deals and in working with large and complex agreements. Excellent communication and presentation skills are also appreciated.
