The business area European Wind and Solar (E) is responsible for development and ownership of wind and solar assets in Europe. The business area is also responsible for the project execution of large projects in Statkraft, the group procurement function and development of new business opportunities.

The New Business (EB) unit defines Statkraft's new business innovation and focus areas based on the corporate strategy and competitive position. Host Norway is part of New Business. Host Norway organizes Statkraft's facilitator program aiming to attract new data centers, and other power intensive industry to Norway.

Senior Sales Representative

Host Norway is looking for a new team member to join the exciting journey ahead, working strategically to bring the company’s initiatives to the market. The new Senior Sales Representative will play a key role in identifying new possibilities, projects and initiatives and build long-term relationships with decision makers in power intensive industries around the world. Existing network and passion for renewable energy will give the right person power to realize these initiatives and start new establishments in Norway.

Responsibilities:

  • Create interest for our projects from international investors
  • Build relationships with key global power intensive industries in cooperation with Statkraft international market activities
  • Drive new sales initiatives and ensure pipeline development for new business as a door-opener, no P&L budget
  • Play a key role in gathering information about industries and companies, being out in the field gaining insight in the macro- and micro-development globally
  • Create visibility in selected markets at conferences as speaker, SoMe and newswires

Your profile:

To succeed in this role, we believe you thrive in a global context and enjoy being in front, developing new business. You are self-driven and have the stamina necessary for long sales processes and are an excellent communicator in English. If you in addition have an existing knowledge and network in power intensive industry it would be an advantage.  Furthermore, you should have an educational background within sales/marketing, engineering/business administration, or equivalent.
