Our first scale plant will start installation work in the spring 2023 and be operational in 2024.The next phase plant is in early phase planning and aims to be in production in 2026. 

To support further growth, we look for experienced project package engineers to join our strong existing team. We have an exciting and ambitious project portfolio with projects in both implementation and planning phase.

Senior project engineers/package responsible, several disciplines such as process, mechanical, electrical, technical safety.    

Main responsibilities:  

• Set requirements and specifications for a system/area/package  
• Participate in preparation of RFQ and supplier evaluation in close dialogue with procurement responsible  
• Lead or participate in development and choice of concepts and technical solutions to meet project requirements
• Identify and manage relevant interfaces to other systems/areas/packages
• Responsible for follow-up and reporting  of the respective contract on HSE/CSR, commercial, technical, cost, schedule, and quality
• Identify risk and critical activities and if required find and implement corrective actions    
• Co-operate closely with other functions in the project and overall Vianode organization as needed 

Required qualifications:  

• Relevant technical education at minimum bachelor level  
• Relevant experience from management of the projects within one of following disciplines: process, mechanical, electrical, technical safety  
• Solid experience from technical work in investment/capex projects   
• Experience with relevant digital office and project relevant IT tools   
• Good oral and written language skills in both Norwegian (Scandinavian Language) and English  

You are structured and independent, as a great deal of autonomy comes with the position. You must be able to prioritize between tasks, adapt quickly, as well as be curious and result oriented. You have great impact and can communicate well with all levels of the organization. You like to take initiative and have high work capacity, and you like to work with a combination of routine work and analytical tasks.

The position reports to the Head of Projects in Vianode in the line and functionally to the Project Manager.
