An exciting opportunity has arisen as Senior DevOps Engineer for our Sensor and Robotics (S&R) Division in Horten. Our Sensor and Robotics Division is using an Agile / Kanban software process with practices as Test Driven Development, automated testing and code reviews incorporated in the process.

As our DevOps Engineer you will have responsibility for configuration management processes for embedded, desktop and cloud applications.

Key accountabilities

• Handle configuration management processes within the Sensor & Robotics Division
• Source Control system (GIT)
• Module libraries/artifactories
• Automatic test systems
• Support the release process with regards to release management, software lifecycle management and support DevOps teams in the deployment process

 

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor or higher in Computer Science. Relevant technical experience may compensate for lack of formal education
• Experience working with configuration management systems such as Azupre DevOps, Git, JFrog, NuGet and Vcpkg
• Experience with test automation, automated builds and deployment (CI/CD)
• Experience with Microsoft development tools as Visual Studio and MSBuild or similar
• Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices relevant to web, desktop and embedded development
• Good scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash etc)
• Good written and oral English communication skills
• Good written and oral Norwegian communication skills
