Senior Advisor - Sustainability Reporting

Are you interested in working within the fast-moving space of sustainability reporting? Then this could be the role for you. With Statkraft, you’ll be part of developing our sustainability reporting, taking new requirements like the EU Taxonomy from the realm of high-level visions down to concrete processes and reporting. You will be the key coordinator of our overall sustainability reporting, help design new and improved processes and provide practical support to colleagues across our exciting renewable energy business.

Working in Corporate Sustainability

As Senior Advisor in the Corporate Sustainability department, you will:

  • Coordinate the development of the sustainability content of our Annual Report – ensuring a high-quality final product.
  • Follow-up and further develop our approach to EU Taxonomy reporting.
  • Manage, update, and improve our other disclosures, e.g., on www.statkraft.com
  • Work closely with the business to develop and support business area specific initiatives to improve sustainability reporting and disclosures.
  • Be the point of contact for our financial reporting colleagues and for our external auditor.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to design tools and guidance supporting the implementation of existing and upcoming reporting requirements.

 

About you:

We look for someone with a master’s degree or similar and hands-on experience from sustainability reporting. You have a good grasp of how to run complex processes, while at the same time have attention to detail and a high-quality result. That includes knowledge in:

  • Corporate level sustainability reporting, incl. developing and delivering qualitative and quantitative content to the Annual Report and other disclosures, and verification of content with external auditor.
  • Taxonomy reporting, incl. translating the sustainability requirements into relevant processes, reporting and documentation setup.
  • Practical application of key standards and frameworks, including but not limited to GRI, TCFD, CDP, UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises.
  • Upcoming requirements like the EU CSRD and the implications of these.
  • Practical initiatives of reporting uplift initiatives involving analysis, planning, change management, system and process development, training, tools.
  • Internal stakeholder engagement & facilitation of processes.

Experiences in these areas are also useful in your role:

  • Financial reporting and/or close collaboration with financial reporting colleagues.
  • Presenting and communicating effectively on sustainability reporting topics.
  • Self-driven, comfortable with high work pressure and a positive team player.

English language fluency is required. Norwegian or other Scandinavian language would be beneficial.
