Work description

Initially you will be hands-on in continuing the development and execution of our risk and security management policies. You will be monitoring and testing the safe operations of our SaaS solutions.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop security policies.
• Lead the successful completion of audits (SOC audits for instance).
• Collaborate on system designs and architecture.
• Maintain current knowledge on GDPR, FERPA and other relevant regulations.
• Support the sales team by (for instance) completing security/compliance questionnaires.
• Ensure that security policies are being followed.
• Manage and execute penetration testing and scanning of our applications.
• Monitor and manage our SaaS applications including related AWS services.
• Ensure that required security patches are being installed on a wide range of applications.
• Assess security controls and identify areas of improvement.
• Participate in system testing from a security perspective.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with relevant regulations and certifications like FERPA, GDPR, SOC and ISO 27002.
• Experience with penetration testing tools like Nessus.
• Experience with AWS services is a plus.
• Computer science or related degree.
• You must be a self-starter and able to work independently.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be located or willing to permanently relocate to either Oslo or Tromsø (Norway).
• The position requires a clean criminal record, relevant candidates must submit documentation of this.

All internal communication is in English and 99 % of Joubel's customers speak English. You must write and speak English almost fluently (Norwegian is not a requirement).
