SEB Summer Internship - Quantitative analyst within FX Trading in Stockholm

The internship in short
Your internship starts off with an introduction to SEB and ends with a presentation. As an intern, you will be involved in our daily business activities and have a great opportunity to explore the environment of global trading and commercial banking. About the position
You will be a joining a team of Traders and Quantitative analysts and be based in Stockholm. Among other tasks, you will for example be introduced to and involved in development of execution and market making algorithms for FX in sophisticated low latency systems. This includes idea generation, hypothesis testing, efficient code implementation and testing.

Furthermore, performance monitoring and continuous optimization of algorithms, reflecting changing market conditions, as well as reaching conclusions from data and take the appropriate actions to strengthen trading activities as well as supporting the trading team with ad-hoc analyses on an intra-day basis. You will be working closely with all parts of the FX organization including Sales and IT.

Who are you?
You do likely have an ongoing M Sc. in a relevant field of study, for example Mathematics, Engineering, Physics or Data science. Also, we see that you have skills within coding and are fluent in both written and spoken English. Experience from electronic FX trading is meriting although not required.

As a person, you are motivated by working in a fast paced and dynamic environment where you can make a difference with your analytical skills. You are a team player who enjoy working as part of a team, have good communication skills, and have the ability to work under pressure.
