The internship in short
Your internship starts off with an introduction to SEB and ends with a presentation. As an intern, you will be involved in our daily business activities and have a great opportunity to explore the environment of global trading and commercial banking. What you will do
Markets Sales Gothenburg is a sales team of eight persons. We serve our clients with financial advisory and trading in foreign exchange, fixed income and commodities. Our customer base ranges from large Swedish corporates to start-ups.
As part of the markets team at SEB in Gothenburg you will take an active role in servicing our customers as well as internal stakeholders. You will gain a deep understanding of the Swedish financial market – its products, services, regulations and participants. Following macroeconomic developments and the regional deal flow will be part of your working day at Markets. You will feed business insights to the team, proactively supporting its sales efforts.

Who are you?
We are looking for an outgoing and driven individual with a genuine interest in financial markets. You are creative, show initiative and are a good team-player. You have analytical skills and are structured and detail oriented. Experience from handling and present large data is an advantage.

Candidates must have one or more years of studying at university level. Preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Economics or other engineering related discipline. The job is customer centric and therefore requires very good oral and written Swedish skills and a service mindset. Above average knowledge in Microsoft Excel is a merit.
