The internship in short
Your internship starts off with an introduction to SEB and ends with a presentation. As an intern, you will be involved in our daily business activities and have a great opportunity to explore the environment of global trading and commercial banking. What you will do
Fixed Income Sales and Derivatives Sales are two teams working close together servicing both the domestic institutional and corporate client base as well as international institutional clients within SEB FICC Markets. We provide the bank’s clients with financial advisory and risk warehousing solutions to help them manage their risks and increase returns through fixed income related products.

During the internship you will support senior colleagues with important analysis and preparatory work. You will be analyzing the macroeconomic development and learn how to use our product offering to help clients to manage their risks. As collaboration is key for the success of our business, you will also have the opportunity to start building a professional network within the whole SEB FICC Markets department and learn how different parts integrate with each other.

Who are you?
You are a highly motivated person with a genuine interest in financial markets. We also believe that you a strong analytical and curious mindset, who pays attention to details, enjoys collaboration and a has a “can-do” attitude.”.

You have one year left of university studies in, Financial Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or similar after finishing this internship.

This job is client centric and therefore requires that you have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as fluent in Swedish and English.

We are also very interested in your personal qualities, outside interests and achievements outside university that gives us an idea who you are and what you can bring to the team.
