Sales Representative - Protective

Jotun Paints South Africa was established in 1997 and employees
75 employees, its head office and production facility is located in Cape Town and we have are branches located in Durban and Johannesburg, and distribution expansion into Southern Africa, namely Namibia, Angola and Mozambique. Jotun South Africa operates in 2 segments namely, Marine and Protective Coatings.

We are currently looking for an individual who has excellent selling and negotiating skills with a strong will to succeed in a highly competitive market. You will be based in Rustenburg, Johannesburg and will report to the Protective Manager.

Duties and responsibilities
Introduce, promote and sell Jotun paints to customers by regular visits to build and maintain good relationships and obtain market information.
 
Ensure timely delivery and good customer service by co-ordinating with all other departments i.e Logistics, Customer Service, Laboratory, Technical Service to meet customer needs.
 
Liaise with departments on matters relating to the supply of paint and specification modifications in order to work as a team and provide good customer service.
 
Ensure customer payment is received by monitoring and supporting debt collection within agreed terms to achieve budgeted days outstanding 
Qualifications
Bachelor ‘s degree in Sales and Marketing
4-6 years of relevant experience in similar position
NACE Certificate advantageous
Advanced PC Literacy skills
Ability to communicate on all levels
Good command of verbal and written English and Afrikaans languages
