Our team is growing and an exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and enthusiastic Sales Operation Specialist to join our Sales Operation team. The role is based in our beautiful Headquarters in Copenhagen working in a global team looking after our ’back office household’. 

You will be part of a global team of other sales specialists who are located in our other offices across Europe.

 

Main responsibilities

You will be responsible for making group reservations and handling enquiries for our MICE, contract, and private group customers primarily on our Copenhagen-Oslo route, ensuring we deliver the promise to our customers.  Efficiently handling back-office tasks including allocation adjustments (wash), manifest entries, payments, and finalising of bookings.

 

Additional tasks

• Ensure the ‘one team’ mindset to support the wider tasks in the sales operation team in times of high volume.
• Participate in ship meetings, tours of vessels and key agent review meetings as appropriate.
• Ensure contact with customers in periods of TIP situations and provide adequate guidance and support.

 

Preferred candidate

Your educational background is less important than your experience and mindset. This role would suit a travel specialist from a related field i.e.Tour Operator or the Hotel and Tourist industry, although this is not essential.  It is more important that you have a drive and enthusiasm to learn, develop and bring lots of energy to the team and our business area. 

You are a friendly, self-motivated and naturally curious person with a keen attention to detail. You will have a structured approach to working with good planning skills. You are very organized and can deliver first class customer service. Furthermore, you have:

• The ability to work in a global cross-functional environment.
• The willingness and ability to be agile, flexible and self-motivated.
• The preference to act rather than react.

Your language skills are important, and we expect you to speak and write good English in addition to Danish. If you can understand more Scandinavian languages, it is definitely a plus.
