We are now looking for someone with technical understanding of complex Energy systems in maritime industry and the motivation and capability to convince stakeholders about the optimal way forward in Marine operations.

In this role you will be part of a highly professional team working with leading customers world wide focusing on TUG vessels. In this segment our customers utilize some of the most advanced technology in some of the toughest marine conditions in the world. Extreme performance for extreme conditions.

You will be part of the Global Sales and Marketing Division who is a global function within Kongsberg Maritime, responsible for presenting the companys total scope of products and solutions towards customers and marketplace.   

Key accountabilities

  • Prepare, present and promote customer specific solutions to shipowners, yards & designers
  • Create and maintain customer relations
  • Preparation of quotations and manage contract negotiations
  • Coordinate customer activities with sales resources within KONGSBERG
  • Responsible for the technical scope, cost estimation and risk assessment of a tender
  • Technical and strategic support to other sales managers
  • Participation in industry conferences and events

 
The environment you'll be working in is built on collaboration, and you'll work closely with other sales teams, both in segments and regions. We cannot succeed without utilizing our global, diverse, and competent team.

Qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical systems
  • Knowledge and overview of electrical products for the maritime industry
  • Sales experience from maritime industry or other relevant products & solutions is an advantage
  • Experience in delivering, commissioning and start-up of systems at shipyards is an advantage
  • Other relevant experience in the Maritime industries is an advantage
  • Fluent in English, verbally and in writing

This employment may require security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority, clearance through Civil Aviation Authority or a background check.

Work location
Bergen, Kongsberg, Ålesund Torp/ Sandefjord. Other Kongsberg locations can be considered for the right candidate
