Sales Manager Baltic and CIS (Riga based)

DFDS is currently seeking to hire a Sales Manager with excellent leadership capabilities, operational and commercial experience, to head a Sales Manager function for Logistics sales in the Baltic States. The role is based at our office in Riga and is responsible for operating and developing the existing sales activities within the Baltics.

 

Your profile:

  • Can demonstrate a strong track-record of being able to create new and innovative sales solutions
  • Effective and strong negotiator
  • Ability to provide leadership, obtain cooperation and assistance to meet objectives
  • Familiar with working in matrix organization
  • Understand and able to work with CRM-system is an advantage

Main areas of responsibility:

 

  • Focus on further developing logistic sales activities in the Baltics and CIS countries
  • Preparation and negotiation of commercial offers and agreements in close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders
  • Heading the logistics sales team in the Baltics
  • Work together with the managment team in order to improve and drive sales
  • Develop and agree business goals and strategies in accordance with the Regional and Divisional Strategy
  • Engage in commercial discussions with customers
  • Develop new commercial concepts and attract new customer base

 

Personal characteristics and skills:

 

  • Perfect English skills both verbally and written, able to master Latvian and Russian
  • University education or relevant higher commercial education
  • Sales experience in the transport sector
  • Ambitious and sales driven
  • Strong leadership skills
  • B category driving license
  • Proactive, positive, and self-driving personality
  • Flexible, loyal and are open minded

 

Traveling must be expected in connection to customer visits and ad hoc project work.
