Jotun Liger (Malaysia and Singapore) took effect from 01 July 2016. The business administration in these 2 countries has been consolidated as one unit and manages by the same management team. The legal setup is to be maintained as is with 2 separate entities for statutory purposes. Performance of the business will be measured as one unit with the consolidated results.
After the establishment of Jotun Liger, the organization is now expected to deliver strong growth while continuously improve on efficiency and profitability.
Today, Jotun Liger is the largest company and one of the main profit contributors in SEAP with total sales of NOK 1,346 Million and EBITA NOK 209K in 2019.
This position is responsible to promote and provide service to dealers and distributor (where appointed) by co-ordinating and monitoring marketing activities and campaigns to achieve sales budget, gross margin and collections.
The position is based in Sarawak, Kuching-Malaysia and reports directly to the Sales Manager.
- Build and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, by conducting regular customer visits and meetings, and collaborating internally to meet customers’ needs and ensuring customer loyalty.
- Promote Multicolour machines and paint by frequent visits to potential hardware/paint dealers to build up dealer's network and increase market share.
- Promote decorative products by coordinating marketing activities and campaigns to achieve sales budget.
- Handle timely collections by monitoring customer aging to reduce day outstanding.
- Coordinate with customer service to ensure prompt delivery of paint.
- Foresee and identify the new potential customers/dealer’s opportunities, problems growth potential as well as future market trends, by gathering and analysing market data and current trends, and implementing effective sales strategies in response to them, with the aim of maximising the profitability of the budget.
- Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant sales experience.
- Possess excellent interpersonal, communication, marketing, and negotiation skill.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office application.
- Successful candidates will be based in Sarawak, Kuching.
