Sales Coordinator, Contract

Designers Company is the name of the company behind the design company By Lassen, MENU, and The Audo. MENU is a Danish design company, which sells furniture, lighting, and accessories in the premium segment to professional and private customers in more than 50 countries. The headquarters are in The Audo, which is a hybrid of a showroom, a concept store, and a boutique hotel – developed by the owners of MENU. The company was founded in 1978 and has around 160 employees who cooperate with talented designers to produce quality products rooted in the Scandinavian design tradition.

We are currently looking for a Contract Sales Coordinator with responsibility for some of our Contract markets in Europe.
You will be joining a team of 11 very committed employees, whose primary task is to secure a high quality and deliver a good professional service to our customers.

 

MAIN JOB TASKS

Your primary work tasks are order handling in close corporation with our sales, purchase, warehouse, finance, and product development. The job offers great variation, and involvement, where corporation and excellent customer service are the most important. 

  • Close partnership with the MENU sales team as well as customers
  • Project manage the large project- and VIP orders
  • Processing orders from placing the order till end delivery at our customers
  • Handling and coordinating with our Supply Chain and suppliers
  • Follow your project closely and keep your sales team and customers updated
  • Following up on special deliveries and assuring deadlines are met
  • … just to name a few

 

PROFILE AND DESIRED EXPERIENCE

The right candidate is:

  • Experienced with sales support and customer service within the contract market – ideally within the industry
  • Motivated in building strong relations with our sales team and customers and delivering a service beyond expectations
  • Willing to improve the customer experience and are not afraid of challenging the status quo
  • Solution-oriented, problem-solving, and proactive
  • Able to prioritize if needed
  • Able to keep a good dialogue through excellent communication skills even in troubled situations
  • Capable to handle more tasks simultaneously and have an operational and energetic approach to your assignments and challenges.
  • An excellent team player. 
  • Knowledge of Axapta and/or similar and excellent skills in working on different digital platforms is an advantage
  • Fluent in Danish and/or English (German could be an advantage)
