Kongsberg Seatex is a company within the Sensors and Robotics division in Kongsberg Maritime. The division also comprises the businesses of Subsea (Horten) and Sensing Solutions (Trondheim). We focus on further development of product-oriented businesses and operations based on a strong technology platform. The division will play an active role shaping the new and strengthened Kongsberg Maritime.

Sensors and Robotics delivers instrumentation, advanced sensors, communication solutions, unmanned underwater and surface vehicles to international markets on- and offshore, merchant marine, subsea, navy, coastal marine and aquaculture. Kongsberg Seatex develop and produce world class products for positioning, navigation and communication comprising GNSS, Attitude, Radar and electrooptical sensors and technology.

 

The position reports to

Product Manager

 Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Develop electronic designs
• PCA design and PCB layout
• FPGA development and programming
• Mechatronics development

We are looking for a colleague with:

• Master or Bachelor within relevant technical area
• Good knowledge and experience with schematics and PCB layout
• Knowledge about C/C++, Python, Linux, embedded and real-time systems
• Self-driven, structured and analytic approach
• Good communication skills in both Norwegian and English
• Teamworking skills
