Kongsberg Maritime is now looking for an R&D Designer to join our team. The position is in our central technology department designing underwater acoustic systems. Your coworkers are leading experts in acoustics, electronics, signal processing and embedded design, passionate about their work and ready to share their knowledge. 

We want your expertise in the Electro Acoustic Transducer Team!

We are designing the acoustic transducers for our products; sonars, echosounder, and multi beams for seabed mapping and underwater communication equipment. We focus and optimize on good design practice, performance and efficiency. If you are highly motivated to work with innovation,and seek an opportunity to specialize and work with advanced challenges in electro acoustic transducer development, you could be the right one for our team.

• Physics

Qualifications and experience 

• Educated as Master, PhD or equivalent
• Knowledge in FEM tools and Matlab
• Passion and enjoyment in the field of physics
