Carry out development and technology tasks through planning, testing and evaluation of formulations, products or raw materials, within Exterior Products Decorative.
 
Participate actively in the working out of R&D tasks, coach colleagues as well as contributing professionally within own area both internally and externally to increase the quality of the R&D plan and competence in the professional environment.
Report results from development and maintenance work both orally and written through R&D and tertiary reports to ensure that the correct decisions, based on current experience, are made.
 
Search for, make use of and communicate knowledge to others through literature, practical experience, learning from others as well as attending courses to be one step ahead of competence needs.
 
The job holder should be interested in learning and operating advanced instrument, and to interpret and understand the results.  The job holder will contribute actively with that expertise in own projects as well as across other projects and teams in the department.
 
Attend to the substitution principle when developing new products. Attend to SHE aspects by handling new raw materials to ensure that the Jotun's SHE requirements are respected.

You should have at least a Masters degree in chemistry, material technology or similar.

Preferably experience from research and development.
Preferably experience with advanced instruments and technology .
Preferably project management skills.

You have the ability to both be the expert and a great communicator who takes interest and pride in sharing knowledge.

Working language is English, where you have excellent skills.
