Formulate, test and evaluate recipes and raw materials for local products in Saudi in coordination with the Regional Lab in Dubai.

Maintain existing products along with the Regional Lab Chemist in Dubai.

Plan and carry out tasks in accordance with the R&D plan.

Formulate, test and evaluate recipes and raw materials for Decorative, Protective and Floor Coatings
in coordination with Regional Lab in Dubai.

Evaluate/substitute raw materials to optimise formulations, reduce cost and increase the purchasing power.
Report the results from development and maintenance work.

Support Regional Lab by conducting site trials for Decorative, Protective and Floor Coatings and visit sites to follow up on complaints.  

Search for and make use of relevant knowledge, including new technology, fields through literature, patents, course, contact with raw material suppliers and internal sources.

Provide technical information and support to the factories in Saudi.

Test products thoroughly to build confidence among sales and marketing in coordination with Regional Lab.

Coordinate with local mkt and authorities on local compliance and license. [SASO parameters compliance]
Take active part in Saudi code adherence committee.

Comply with Jotun working processes and procedures like innovation process, use of NOVA, tests methods and technical check list.  

3 - 5 years of relevant experience .
Bachelor's degree in relevant field.  
Arabic and English speaking
