Quality Manager – KONGSBERG IT

 

Overview:

The Quality Manager in KONGSBERG IT will play an important role in ensuring that the way KONGSBERG IT works meet the required quality standards and comply with organizational policies and industry practises and regulations. The role is responsible for implementing and maintaining quality assurance processes for KONGSBERG IT and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality of IT deliverables across KONGSBERG.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that IT deliverables adhere to the established quality standards, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements, as well as KONGSBERG requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality IT solutions.
  • Define quality metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of quality assurance efforts.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the way we work.
  • Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to address audit findings and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of quality assurance processes, procedures, and audit findings, prepare regular reports and presentations on the status of quality assurance activities, including metrics, trends, and areas for improvement.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in quality assurance and quality management work within technology and IT industries.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to identify and solve complex problems.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams as well as providing results in an effective way across teams and functions.
  • Experience with quality management tools and software
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the IT industry (e.g., CUI s policies, ISO 270001:9001, ITIL etc)
