An exciting opportunity has arisen as Global  Customer Support QHSE Manager, reporting to VP GCS QHSE.

We are seeking an experienced QHSE Manager to join our QHSE team. In this role, you will champion our commitment to excellence, overseeing the training, governance, and continuous improvement of our Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) management systems. Your responsibilities include ensuring compliance with standards, conducting and supporting comprehensive risk assessments, and fostering a culture of safety and quality awareness among our employees. You will know the operation and challenges in detail and provide regular, transparent reports to the leadership team, analyzing our QHSE performance and strategizing ways to enhance our standards, while integrating QHSE considerations seamlessly into our business strategy and operations.

Responsibilities

  • Safety Culture and Accountability:  Act as a catalyst and champion of KM's safety culture, leading by example and promoting high accountability.
  • HSE and Safety: Develop and oversee HSE protocols specifically tailored for field service engineers, ensuring their safety and compliance with industry standards.
  • Quality Training, Process Efficiency, and Customer Issue Resolution: Coordinate training sessions to heighten quality awareness within the team. Implement streamlined processes and procedures to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Quality, Management Systems, and ISO Compliance: Support management in aligning quality and management systems with business objectives, ensuring adherence to KM's integrated management system.
  • Integration and Procedure Review:  Act as an integrator, reviewing internal KM policies and procedures to ensure their currency and applicability to operations.
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Promote innovation and ongoing enhancements within QHSE, fostering proactive approaches to safety, quality, and environmental practices.

Qualifications and experience

  • Degree withing a related field, emphasizing QHSE principles, or experience in operational environment.
  • Certifications: Possession of relevant certifications such as ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) indicating expertise in QHSE management systems will be an advantage.
  • Substantial hands-on experience in implementing and managing QHSE programs within the the maritime industry, demonstrating a thorough understanding of industry regulations and best practices.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Demonstrated functional leadership skills with the ability to inspire teams and exceptional communication abilities to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the organization.

This employment may require security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority, clearance through Civil Aviation Authority or a background check.
