An exciting opportunity has arisen as QHSE Manager in our division Integrated Solutions in Kongsberg Maritime. In this role you will support the Energy & Systems business unit, and you will deliver world class Quality Assurance and HSE functional support, continuously drive improvement and help the organization move towards a more sustainable maritime industry.

You will be part of the Quality Assurance and HSE team in Integrated Solutions delivering functional know-how and support to the business. As our QHSE Manager, you are knowledgeable, curious and have a keen eye for improvements. You should be able to manage stakeholders, actively use your network, see the integrated picture, and communicate effectively.

Energy & Systems is a business unit with global operations and consists of key functions such as energy products, ship design, system integration, project management and a portfolio of highly complex and novel projects. 

Key accountabilities

• Act as the QHSE business partner for and support the business unit management in proactivity, QHSE related issues, identify and drive improvements
• Ensure fit for purpose processes and drive process improvement culture in Kongsberg Maritime
• Carry out assessments and audits to secure adherence to Business Management Systems (ARIS)
• Ensure effective quality assurance, risk assessment in the business unit and compliance to our ISOL standards (14001, 27001, 45001, 9001)
• Deliver world class QHSE support and manage QHSE performance effectively through adequate KPIs provided by your manager
• Promote and communicate potential best practices and lessons learned with internal stakeholders in Kongsberg Maritime
• Contribute to progress and resolution of issues in our Problems & Improvement database

Qualifications and experience

• Preferably Bachelor’s degree in software design, engineering, computer science or information systems
• Experience from companies that are subjected to ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 / OHSAS 18001, and ISO 27001 certifications
• Working experience in software development and software quality assurance
• Working experience in functional safety, internal audits, project management and process tailoring
• Interest in software quality methodologies, tools, processes, and problem solving
• Oral and written communication skills in English
