Kongsberg Maritime are looking for a Python Test Developer in one of our very exciting development projects. In this role you will be offered freedom and creativity in the way you develop the solutions. You will be a part of the test team securing high quality and effective test solutions for our next generation real-time platform. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining Python test frameworks and scripts used for test automation.

 

Key accountabilities

• Develop and maintain;
  • the automated test frameworks and scripts in Python
  • python libraries and pipelines
  • test environment
• Contribute to test analysis and test design for the system under test
• Collaborate with your test colleagues on other test automation initiatives within the department

 

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor or master’s degree within engineering or computer science
• Good knowledge in Python programming language
• Advanced knowledge in another programming language can compensate (eg C++, JavaScript, ...)
• Experience with Linux and VMWare
• Good knowledge in network and the OSI layers
• Experience with embedded systems or process control systems is a plus
• Good verbal and written English
