Purchasing Manager

JOTUN COSCO Marine Coatings (JCMC), a joint venture company between COSCO International Holding Ltd. and Jotun A/S, established in Hongkong in 2005. JCMC Qingdao factory opened in 2013, with annual production capacity of 50 million liter for Marine coatings products. This position will be based at our factory in Qingdao, beautiful coastal city in northern China.

Duties and responsibilities
  • Control the entire operational procurement process in factory including data maintenance in ERP for ensuring the supply of material be in line with requirement that has been taken over.
  • Provide direction to support teams and involve in delivery of purchasing activities to meet commercial objectives.
  • Make asystematic RM planning and control the inventory stock.
  • Drive compliance with all purchasing policies, procedures and legislative requirement.
    Coordinate with the customs to secure the exporting and importing.
  • Lead, motivate and develop subordinate employees within the scope of the corporate guidelines and qualification matrix.
  • According to the requirement in the HSEQ management system, the holder of this position is defined as element owner for element 9 – Environment
Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree or above, 5 years above relevant working experience is preferable
  • Have a strong analysis ability
  • Fluent English, both spoken and written
  • Good command of MS office
  • Excellent communication skill, work with initiative & responsibility
