Project Resource Planner

You will be joining the organization at a time when digital innovation is key to the success of the company, and we want people to help us shape this journey. The Project Resource Planner is responsible for responding to customers and allocating the proper service engineer(s) for larger in-depth projects and multi dept services. Aiding and supporting the customers.

 The Project Resource Planner is the “go-to” person for all project related needs from both internal and external customers. All customers will receive timely and accurate responses. This position requires vast customer support skills as it requires frequent contacts with customers and sister companies/headquarters. This Project Coordinator will work with the Spare part and Service support team to accurately fill customer needs

 

Responsibilities/Tasks

  • Work Closely with the Sales, Project Management/U&M and After Market Sales team to ensure good handover from AMS to GCS team
  • Create and Review new work orders. Ensure that the correct customer information is set up in both ERP and CRM systems
  • Participate in Customer meetings when needed for resource planning scopes with AMS/Sales managers and communicate with the customer during the service and assist with questions
  • Responsible for making the best decisions for the project regarding resources, spares arrivals, etc
  • Take part in KMI 24-hour emergency support and KMI service desk emails outside of normal business hours
  • Responsible for Work orders and Service appointments regarding Project related service orders
  • Participate in debrief with service Engineers and follow up with invoicing team after service jobs to ensure correct hand over and invoicing
  • Participate in KPI and P&L meetings and improvement plans
  • Stay in close collaboration with SS&S, project depts, and other regional Coordinators for resource sharing
  • Responsible for CRM service email queues for respective dept
  • Participate in routine meetings for sharing resources regionally
  • Meet with Department Managers to make final financial decisions on difficult or multi-trip Projects
  • Provide backup to Regional Resource Planner team for dept services when needed or available
  • Additional tasks as deemed necessary by Group Manager/Country Manager

 

Authority

  • Carry out actions when needed to prevent errors within our delivery and scope of work
  • Assign all service appointments for resources for Project related services
  • Suggest improvements on procedures and report needs to Manager

 

Competence:

  • Knowledge of KM Worldwide organizations, products, deliveries, and customers a plus.
  • Committed and reliable
  • Experience with Windows based ERP system is a plus
  • Technical expertise is a plus
  • Knowledge of operating a PC and working with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage time and meet required deadlines
  • Good English written and verbal communication with both internal and external customers
  • High level of customer service skills
  • Ability to be self-sufficient
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well with others

Work location

New Orleans, Galveston, Houston, Miramar, or Seattle

 

Expected Pay Range: $60,000 - $70,000

As required by law, the salary information above is a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role in Washington. Please note this is a general guideline only and that compensation varies depending on multiple factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, office location and other business considerations.
