We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Project Manager in the Automation & Control division of Kongsberg Maritime. Our department is responsible for delivering FGSS / LNG / FSRU / FLNG related projects worldwide. In this role you will be at the forefront of delivering state of the art maritime solutions. We are a part of the transition to the green shift and have projects in the portfolio supporting an environmental focus and giving solutions towards a more sustainable future.  

As a Project Manager (PM) in Kongsberg Maritime, you will have responsibility for a diverse portfolio of projects and deliveries in the gas segment. You will be responsible for all project deliverables including product solutions, technology and supply chain operations. You will be the customer’s main point of contact. As a PM, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of tasks and resources in assigned projects.

What you will be doing

• Lead and deliver global projects with a strong emphasis on quality, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage and guide personnel assigned to own projects.
• Manage scope, time, costs, communication, and risks in our projects.
• Lead customer interface and communication towards internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous department improvement.
• Travel as required.

We think you should have

• Higher technical education, but relevant experience can compensate for education.
• Preferably experience from project management.
• Experience from working directly with customers in Maritime industry and knowledge about our products is an advantage.
• Experience from conversion projects or refit is a plus.
• Manage English fluently, both spoken and written.
