For expansion of our DFDS primeRail Intermodal Transport team we are looking for committed and motivated Project Manager Intermodal Transport (m/f/d) in fulltime at the location in Troisdorf.

Your tasks

• expansion of the intermodal network, as well as identification and implementation of optimisation opportunities
• purchasing of rail and intermodal services along the entire transport chain (railway undertakers (RU’s), terminals, operator and others)
• contract management with clients & partners (RU’s, terminals and operator)
• recurring make-or-buy-analyses for network set-up, operating models and deployment of assets
• introduction of new / modified products until handover to operations
• quality management regarding to customers and partner (RU’s, terminals, operator and others)
• participation in the development of intermodal IT solutions

Your profile

• successfully completed studies in business administration with focus on logistics or comparable degree
• 3 - 5 years of professional experience in project management in the logistics industry, experience in intermodal transport networks or rail transport desireable
• very good analytical process thinking, as well as structured and result-oriented work
• very good knowledge of German and English, further language skills would be an advantage
• reliability, proven professional competence, commitment, resilience & assertiveness
• good technical and business knowledge in logistics and transportation
• experience in preparing decision papers for management
• strong moderation skills and ability to work in a team
