An exciting opportunity has arisen as Project Manager. In this role you will manage a portfolio of small and efficient projects towards worldwide customers, with diverse project teams within combined Kongsberg Maritime (KM) product portfolio.

Our projects consist of vessel types with a wide range from passenger, cruise, research and fishing vessels to offshore wind farm vessels. We are looking for motivated and experienced colleague with passion for project management contributing in delivering projects to maximize profitability and increasing customer satisfaction.

Key accountabilities

• Manage a Services team who are deployed on Fix price, upgrade and in-service vessel fleet projects and contracts globally.
• Project Lead on upgrade and in-service vessel fleet projects, Repair & Overhaul and Thruster Support Pool projects and contracts globally
• Manage customer interface including formal contractual communications and on-site informal interface.
• Coordinate and manage across the Service Delivery organization on projects
• Develop a reporting structure for major projects to ensure profitability is on target, risks are managed, and customer satisfaction is sharply focused. Where appropriate provide an audit function.
• Develop regional competency, supporting and promoting project management across the business and drive best practice.
• Support the Technical Support & Engineering function within Marine Services on services Engineering projects.

 

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor degree, relevant experience can substitute this
• Experience as a Project Manager is advantage, but you can also be an engineer or other technical background who aspire to be a Project Manager
• Experience from marine industry is an advantage
• Fluent in English and Norwegian, both verbal and in writing
