Kongsberg Protech Systems USA in Birmingham, MI is seeking to fill the position of Project Manager. The Project Manager will provide program leadership and management of specific project execution based on awarded contracts.

Essential job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Cost, schedule and budget performance
  • Contract performance, compliance and reporting
  • Supply chain coordination, scheduling and subcontract management
  • Leadership and management across dislocated teams (nationally and internationally), both operationally and technically
  • Stakeholder management and relationship development
  • Manage and balance multiple competing project requirements.

OTHER POSITION CONSIDERATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Management or a related field is a minimum requirement. Master's degree in Engineering, Business Management or related field is preferred.

A minimum seven (7) years of directly-related experience is a must. Must possess a detailed understanding and extensive experience in at least one discipline (e.g. digital, mechanical, software, test) of complex electronic product development. Preference given to prior experience in manufacturing and/or US Government contracting. Excellent interpersonal and communication/negotiation skills and the ability to work effectively with a team is necessary.
