There is now an opportunity to work as a Project Manager within Kongsberg Riser System. The Kongsberg Riser System business unit is recognized as a world leading engineering and consultancy service provider of riser and umbilical technologies, flowlines and subsea production systems for exploration, production and commissioning. The group offers digitalization services to the upstream oil & gas and maritime industry, with products that provide remote real time monitoring and decision-making capabilities.

We are seeing growing demand and are seeking candidates with engineering domain experience, preferably within energy including renewables, upstream Oil & Gas and maritime industry.

 

Main tasks & responsibilities

• Establish and manage integrates systems delivery projects, including subcontracts
• Manage technical activities in accordance with customer specifications, regulations and standards
• Manage commercial aspects, including project status, end forecasts, risk and change management
• Manage all interface systems
• Lead engineering, installation and commissioning activities
• Point of contact toward Client

 

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor or Master Engineer, with minimum 5-10 years’ experience
• Extensive experience from project organizations within the maritime sector
• Experience and understanding of managing instrument, control and/or data communication system installations from projects involving international customers
• Ability to collaborate across different cultures and manage English fluently
