Our department LNG/FGSS Engineering, is responsible for delivery of integrated automation systems (IAS) to projects in the «high end» part of the maritime automation market. We are highly specialised in maritime automation for control & monitoring green gas solutions for the future, and reporting/ analysing and counselling customers in questions regarding fuel consumption and emission.

 

Key accountabilities

• Engineer specifications and interface for automation systems onboard LNG/FSRU or other type of gas related vessel.
• Realize functionality and control gas processes by development/adaption of automation SW applications
• Assist foreign offices with technical solutions, QA control and start-up of automation deliveries to Yard
• Handle solution, order (contract) and shipment for 3.party suppliers /customers.
• Develop test & verification documentation and perform internal/external acceptance tests (IAT/FAT)
• Maintain and further develop procedures and routines for project execution

 

Qualifications and experience

• 2-5 years technical education in automation, cybernetics, maritime SW application, process control, electrical engineering, or systems engineering (as a supplement to other technical education)
• Relevant experience from maritime industry /ship/Yard are positive and may compensate for some lack of formal education.
• Good communication skills, in Norwegian and English (spoken & written).
