Product Owner - Advanced Analytics and AI

Your Role
As Product Owner you will lead one of our two data science teams in terms of defining Advanced Analytics and AI (AAAI) vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities, and communicate with stakeholders throughout projects. Your will be responsible for maximizing the business value and your delivery responsibility stretches from idea to industrialization. You will also be part of building and shaping our AAAI department.

The role involves tasks and responsibilities such as:

  • Develop visions, strategies, and roadmaps from an AAAI perspective together with different business units.
  • Work with stakeholders in different areas of the bank to identify AAAI opportunities and define projects.
  • Design AAAI solutions together with business stakeholders, the data science team and the Lead Data Scientist to maximize impact; function as the link and catalyst
  • Plan and prioritize product development and product feature backlog.
  • Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories and epics to ensure work aligns with product strategy
  • Mitigate roadblocks to achieving goals
  • Lead the product-release plans and set expectations for delivery of new functionalities
  • Pressure-test algorithms from a business logic perspective and develop value-proofs/business cases

About You

  • You have a Master’s degree, PhD or similar in Business, Engineering or other relevant advanced degree with above average academic results.
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in a position requiring strong analytical skills
  • 3+ years of Product Owner, team lead or project management experience (formal or informal)
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
  • You are self-reliant and business-oriented with a pragmatic mindset and an interest in tech
  • You understand Swedish at an advanced level
  • Understanding of working with advanced analytics tools and technologies or digital development teams
  • You have an ability to drive delivery efficiency through focusing, prioritizing, and organizing the team’s work
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good understanding of AAAI use cases together with an ability to understand business operations and translate them into well-defined analytical deliverables
