To manage and grow our portfolio of training products, we are looking for a collaborative and determined Product Manager – Training. Together with our operations managers, product advisors, course coordinators and instructors, you will be the driving force in product development and marketing activities with the purpose to increase customer value and grow the revenue from our training services. You will also be an important contributor to our digital transition by supporting the enhancement of our learning management system and exploring new technologies such as remote learning, gamification and extended reality.

 

Key accountabilities

• Contribute to defining the training product strategy and roadmap
• Meet with customers to support sales and develop deeper understanding of customers’ needs
• Drive development of new training products and product ideas; own the business case, manage budget for training product development and launch new training products
• Develop pricing guidelines to ensure revenue and profitability goals are met
• Drive marketing activities, including website content and social media presence
• Follow-up and support product advisors in further developing training courses
• Ensure that we have the right technology in place to efficiently deliver training of high value and to enable future growth and manage the supplier of our learning management system
• Facilitate collaboration and information exchange between all Kongsberg Maritime’s training centres and manage relationships with external training partners globally
• Ensure course documentation, assessments and tools are standardised across training centres

Qualifications and experience

• Experience from sales, marketing or/and commercial relations
• Strong knowledge of the maritime and offshore industries
• Knowledge of our products and/or technical understanding
• Experience from, or a strong interest in, competence development
