An exciting opportunity has arisen as Product Advisor, reporting to Product Manager Simrad sonars. In this role you will be a part of the global SIMRAD Fisheries network, delivering technology for sustainable fisheries to the global fishing fleet. You will be involved with all aspects of the product as well as the business.
We  are experiencing a growth in the market and we are expanding our portfolio of SIMRAD fishery sonars. As product advisor you will be responsible for customer interaction to ensure that we adapt our products and functionalities to customer needs as well as product follow-up, this demands an open-minded and curious personality. You will lead development as well as product life-cycle, this demands responsibility and determination.

Key accountabilities

• Requirement analysis through customer interaction in office and onboard fishing vessels
• Follow up and verify development; mechanical, electronics and software
• Technical sales support
• Travel and sea time required; amount can be adapted

Qualifications and experience

• Sonar experience from fishery or navy beneficial
• Interest or experience in Electronics
• Interest or experience in Signal Processing
• English and Norwegian oral and written communication skills
