An exciting opportunity has arisen as Product Advisor - Digital Onboard Solutions. We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Product Advisor to join us in Kongsberg Maritime. You will be a part of the Digital team delivering world-class digital solutions for the marine market. You will be or become our expert on products such as Ship@Web, Con-Connect and K-IMS, and as our Product Advisor, you should be curious, explorative and bring your professional proficiency towards both colleagues and customers.

With us, you will be involved in the product management of our full range of existing and new digital products.  We are looking for you who want to develop yourself and take on new responsibilities

 

Key accountabilities

• Maintaining a library of known solutions, interfaces and its documentation.
• Development of product solutions to ensure they are easily repeatable for projects, as well as included in production tools for efficient delivery.
• Investigating, developing and documenting new ideas.
• Making product documentation needed for sales and delivery.
• Assisting Sales in tendering processes.

 

Qualifications and experience

• You are a Master or Bachelor engineer or a graduate from technical college in computer science, electronics, automation or similar
• Preferably you have experience or knowledge of:
  • One or more of the programming languages, Python, C++, C#, Java and SQL.
  • Data historian architectures and infrastructures.
  • Data architecture and governance / Cyber Security principles and best practices
  • Data analytics, data visualization products, and data historians such as OSIsoft PI / TimescaleDB or similar.
  • Work environment like Azure DevOps or similar.
• Fluent in English, both oral and written
