We are now looking for an experienced Portfolio/Project manager to join us on our mission, working in our Simulation Department in Horten.

 

We are now expanding our team and looking for a driven and competent Portfolio / Project Manager to join our Maritime Simulations Department in Horten. As a Portfolio manager, you will be working on our software development projects. The main responsibility will be to manage a portfolio of projects, hereunder act as interface between the project owners and the development organization. It also includes Management of and balancing team capacity, presentation of progress, plans and financial statements are integrated parts of the position’s responsibility. The position reports to Vice President Software Development and is a member of the department’s management team.

If you already have…

 

A Master’s degree within relevant fields, and extensive experience (7 years +) within the field of Project Management for software development projects, including knowledge of Scrum and scaled Scrum, since you will be working close with and orchestrate several distributed Scrum teams. Competence within the Maritime industry is an advantage.

 

To be successful in this role you must be analytical and structured, like to take initiative and work independently. You are a person who likes to move quickly in a changing and agile environment and handles several projects concurrently. You are a strong and active team player in order to meet goals imposed by a highly competitive business environment. It is excellent if you have DevOps skills, and are familiar with Continuous Deployment practices. You will need to have good communication skills (oral and written English), since the job also include remote and cross-culture communication.
