Sjøtransport og shipping
Pioneers in energy infrastructure: Höegh Evi keeps the world’s energy in flow. We are leading the way into a new energy era drawing on our 100-year history in shipping and decades of experience in maritime energy to deliver efficient, reliable solutions.
At Höegh Evi, our purpose is to accelerate countries toward energy security and transition through innovative marine energy infrastructure. Our floating terminal solutions bridge today’s energy needs with tomorrow’s clean, carbon-free future.
With 50 years of expertise in liquid gas handling and technology, we’re pioneering the era of clean energy - developing cost-effective floating terminals for the storage, processing, and delivery of clean molecules.
The company has an international presence in 13 countries – Bermuda, Norway, Singapore, Germany, Lithuania, United Kingdom, USA, Indonesia, Egypt, Colombia, Brazil, France and the Philippines.
Höegh Evi is looking for a Performance Analyst to join the Maintenance and Performance Optimization team. The role will be based in Oslo and report to the VP Maintenance and Performance Optimization.
About the Role:
If you enjoy combining ships, data and problem-solving, this is an opportunity to use all three in a role with real operational impact.
As a Performance Analyst, you will support the monitoring, analysis and optimization of operational and environmental performance across our fleet of LNG Carriers and Floating Storage and Regasification Units (FSRUs).
You will turn operational data into actionable insights that help our teams make better decisions — improving efficiency, reliability, reporting quality and environmental performance.
This is more than a reporting role. Working closely with vessel crews, technical and operational teams, and digitalization specialists, you will help identify what the data is telling us, where performance can improve, and how we can turn those insights into action. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of fleet performance, reporting processes and data-management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and follow up FSRU and LNGC performance and performance data across the fleet, identifying deviations, trends and improvement opportunities.
• Work with vessels and shore-based personnel to troubleshoot operational, reporting and performance-related challenges.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reporting quality and operational performance, and help translate these into operational best practices across the fleet.
• Develop, improve and maintain performance KPIs and calculation models for operational and environmental data.
• Turn data into useful dashboards, reports and visualizations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Help ensure the quality of operational and environmental data and coordinate timely corrections where needed.
• Support the standardization and continuous improvement of reporting processes and methodologies.
• Contribute to improvement projects involving performance, automation, digitalization and data management.
• Build knowledge of relevant environmental rules and regulations and act as a focal point, helping coordinate their interpretation and reporting requirements with internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Engineering, Maritime or a related field. Relevant industry experience may compensate for a lack of formal educational qualifications.
• Approximately two years of experience in a similar position or related field.
• Experience from shipping, vessel operations, liquefied gas or energy infrastructure is an advantage.
• A genuine interest in ships and vessel operations, data analytics and improvement, and the challenges of decarbonization.
• Strong digital skills and the ability to work effectively with operational data, reporting systems and analytical tools.
• Strong written and spoken English.
Personal qualities:
You will probably thrive in this role if you:
• Enjoy getting into the detail and understanding what the data is really telling you.
• Are curious, proactive and naturally look for ways to make things better.
• Enjoy solving problems with others and sharing knowledge.
• Are comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-disciplinary and international environment.
• Work efficiently, deliver on time and follow things through to completion.
• Identify with Höegh Evi’s values: innovation with customers and partners, delivery excellence as one team, and caring for people and the planet.
We offer:
• The opportunity to work at the intersection of maritime operations, data and energy, in a strong and well-respected company with a rapidly expanding global business.
• An international and inclusive working environment with high employee satisfaction and experienced colleagues to collaborate, learn and grow with.
• Competitive compensation and benefits package.
• Health insurance.
• Flexible workhours.
• Subsidized canteen and paid lunchbreak.
• Modern and central office-premises.
• In-house gym-facilities and subsidized gym memberships.
If you're curious about ships, excited by data and want to see your analysis translate into real operational improvements, we'd like to hear from you.
General information:
Höegh Evi is committed to equal opportunities and a diverse, inclusive workplace. We encourage applications from all qualified candidates, regardless of gender, nationality, or background, and guarantee full confidentiality throughout the recruitment process.
Candidates are expected to openly offer all relevant information about themselves during the recruitment process. Candidates will be asked for information on affiliation to high-risk countries for a security assessment. Furthermore, background checks are performed on all final candidates, and all permanent and temporary hires will be screened against relevant sanctions lists to ensure compliance with sanctions law.
