Looking for an Operations Manager to oversee the fulfillment of larger organizational goals. The right candidate will be able to coordinate activities between multiple projects within the organization to ensure they benefit one another and meet business goals. Main duties include organizing various activities to improve company efficiencies, building long-term goals for the organization.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all Naval Business Unit project deliveries, regardless of factory or warehouse location.
• Host monthly Sales and Product forecast meetings.
• Follow up and coordinate sales support in bid processes for larger opportunities. Project estimation and risk quantification.
• Responsible for financial reporting of the project portfolio.
• Work in close collaboration with product management and R&D where new product development is part of delivery projects.
• Follow up Customer Service, Manufacturing Technology and Planning functions on behalf of the Business Unit. Continuously improve our Business Management System and way of working.

 Qualifications and experience

• Must have strong project/program management experience with large and complex delivery projects.
• Must have a broad knowledge of project management methodologies.
• The ability to understand the wider objectives of the program, such as business and strategic goals.
• The ability to work with a wide range of individuals.
• Strong leadership and managerial skills with appropriate experience
• Strong knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures
• Some travelling is expected in this role
• Be able to execute selected delivery or R&D projects
